ZKsync Reports $5M ZK Tokens Stolen via Private Key Compromise, $ZK Drops 15%

ZKsync, a blockchain platform, has reported that its security team identified a compromised admin account which led to the unauthorized control of approximately $5 million worth of ZK tokens due to a private key compromise. These tokens were part of the remaining unclaimed tokens from the ZKsync airdrop. The company has emphasized that this incident was isolated, caused by a compromised key, and confined to the ZK Token airdrop contract.
